An LPN at Fern Park Developmental Center is responsible for medication administration, treatments, and medical oversight of the clients. according to policies and procedures and within the standards of the individual state's Nurse Practice Act, ICF/DD and individual State Standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in the implementation and continuing evaluation of each individual’s Active Treatment Plan.
• Participates in the ongoing communication process, verbal and written of individual health and health care intervention
• Maintains security and cleanliness of each medication room
• Assists in maintaining adequate drug and pharmaceutical stocks to provide continuity of medicine and Enteral feeding administration
• Transcribes physician’s orders
